First stop, NICU Station D

For those of you that have not seen the NICU, let's hope that you never have to.  The accomodations are very nice, and the staff even better!  However, it is still not the place a parent wants their baby to go to.

Below is a picture of the station that Addie spent the first week of her life.  The picture was taken moments before she left it for her private room with mommy - hence the huge smile on mommy's face.  There is a curtain that pulls around it for privacy.  Not pictured is a recliner that mommy used to feed and relax in next to the crib.  Pictured is Addie in her bassinet (yes, she is in the pink ball of blankets).  The warmer bassinet and gow light crib were each placed where the bassinet is when she was in need of them.  You can see the nurse's chair and computer, as well as the monitors and other associated equipment that Addie was hooked up to, on the wall and counter too.
